This is the start and story of LIFE. If you’re here on this page already, then maybe you get me. If you’re just exploring options I’d love the chance to talk about why I think its wild we applaud wedding photos and cake smashes but I still get told ‘OH WOW, I would never want THAT photographed’ when I tell people what I do for a living.

Birth is exactly something that deserves to be photographed.
And I’ll say it. It isn’t just blood and vulvas, although those do play a really important part, its SO much more. SO so much more that sometimes I think it takes a photo or a film to get the point across.
Birth is tears, and pain, and screams, and moans, and laughs and this consuming fire of ‘Holy crap I did it’
Yeah. THAT is exactly what I photograph.
