Aulani Birthday Vacation

Birthdays are magical…Disney is magical…Oahu is magical…… but spending your birthday celebrating it at a Disney resort in Oahu? These twins are are living the dream

I know its torturous but when I can, I do my best to get it out of the way in the beginning

These little giggle boxes did their best to humor me and get a portrait out of the way before the adventure began.

On this little magical birthday adventer, I was lucky enough to be able to photograph multi generations which is something very near to my heart. Its not often we get to capture these moments together, to literally freeze this moment of our heritage. Its truly inspiring sometimes when I think of the stories and the experiences held within these lifetimes. How we somehow pass those down through generations but at the same time these parts of our beginnings fade when we loose each generation. In these little moments though, we have love and the innocent laughter of the future.

We took some time on the rocks enjoying the gorgeous night and the incredibly while the sunset did us a solid and danced behind the clouds a bit. While evenings are gorgeous…spoiler alert, this is understandably a super popular location, sunrises do offer a chance at less congestion. While the magic of editing gives us a quiet beach it was anything but!

But whew, its a fabulous place to ruckus around, play in the sand and make some memories. You really can’t beat the sunsets here!

I honestly don’t remember my 8th birthday. Maybe it was swimming party or bowling.

If these girls ever end up wondering how the heck they celebrated their 8th, at least their parents will have the photos to prove it all!
